This is a great piece of equipment for trolling for salmon. I have pulled in 25lb+ fish on this reel. I also have the Magda and this was worth the extra money. At the time I purchased it is was only $10 more than the Magda - a no-brainer. I would say it is worth up to $25 more.

Columbia River Knife and Tool's M21-04 Charcoal Gray Folding Knife with Razor-Sharp Edge Spear Point Blade Review

I ordered the M21-04 and the M-21-04G. This review is for the M21-04. This knife is solid and strong. It is big and a bit heavy, but not too bad. It is a bit lighter than the M21-04G, which has G10 handles. The aluminum handles are very nice. They have a good enough grip without slipping. The blade is AUS8. Well proven performance steel. The blade's finish is very well done in a semi-dark grey finish. The spear shape of the blade seems to be primarily for self defense. But the knife is strong enough to perform EDC tasks as well. This is a good knife for an experienced knife user that understands knives well. The Teflon washers make blade deployment smoother than the lower price M21-04G. CKRT does a good job in providing all the specifications at their website. I would recommend the aluminum version over the G10 version because it has the AUS8 steel and the Teflon washers. The price difference is not that great. I would also recommend the plain blade version over the combination serrated/plain version. I think the plain blade will perform better for cutting and slicing. Lock up is tight. Auto LAWKS is not that hard to use when closing knife with one hand. Overall great knife, 5 stars.

UPDATE; 6/22/11. I am very happy with the M21-04. I ordered a second one, just in case I loose the first one. As usual great service from Amazon. Shipped with USPS, very timely dleivery.

For the price and size I wasn't expecting much. But to my delight it is louder and more responsive than I had hoped. I set the caller up in a clearing and then walked back to my hide that was 83 yards away up a small hill that rose just over 20 feet higher than the receiver. I had a clear line of sight with no trees or brush blocking and the remote and receiver both worked fine straight out of the box with the batteries that came with it. Ran it for two hours calling with it every couple of minutes with no problems. All volume controls and calls worked fine at my distance.
