The K-Swiss K-Ona Running Shoe are a pair of neutral cushioned running shoes featuring double density EVA which maximizes cushioning and enhances durability of the midsole provided by special formula EVA. The foot is centred from heel to toe due to the Guideglide midsole construction ensuring a comfortable and stable ride. The heel crash pad features Super Foam for enhanced comfort and cushioning. Durability and traction are key with an outsole constructed of Aosta II rubber in the heel and blown rubber in the forefoot. I tried these shoes on at IMLP 2009 and liked them. I didn't like them as much as Newtons, which I also tried on, but these are about half as expensive.

They're lightweight and have relatively nothing but mesh in the upper. I have raced up to a half marathon in them and had good results.

They have a large toe box and are generally very wide (I have wide feet), except for one pinch point exactly where the foot ends and the toes begin. I solve this by leaving the bottom most shoe lace eyelets unlaced.

I typically wear size 12 but got these in 11.5 and they are the right size.
