I have had this knife for about 6 months and i could not be more satisfied it holds a good edge, its extremely think for its length and is immediately obvious it is full tang and Kabar quality. Now lets talk about the handle the Kabar is a fighting knife meant to be held in a closed fist for maximum cutting power and grip, im 6"2 with large hands and i have no problems. All these people you see commenting that the handle is to small are trying to thumb the base like its a pocket knife and use it for precision cutting and thats just not its intended use, and when you use a tool outside of its intended use your not going to be happy with the results. this is not a knife for opening mail or boxes and cutting tape or straps this is a fighting knife meant to be used as a weapon. Using it for anything else it just kinda weird that would be like trying to sharpshoot with a full auto rifle then wondering why you cant hit shit thats just not what it was built for.
