I purchased this receiver for my boat to replace the stock Jensen receiver it came with. It has a nice look to it and plays MP3 cds, unlike the Jensen, and also has an auxiliary 3.5mm plug for mp3 players, phones, ipods, etc.. It also has nice eq presets built in and is easy to customize. Also has multiple outputs in the back for connecting to an amplifier. The only gripe I have with it is the randomizing of the mp3 cds. If you press the next track while in random it literally goes to the next track in order instead of randomizing it. This is only annoying because if you have several tracks by an artist and don't want to hear that artist you have to turn the random off then on again to randomize it. I have never had a receiver that did that. Other than that it is a great receiver and I am very happy with my purchase. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Clarion M109 CD/MP3/WMA Receiver" are high quality item.
