This release was ordered for my wife to go with her pink-camo Diamond bow and her small wrist/hand. I use the black, 'adult sized' version of this same release and we both are very happy with them. The 'trigger' is perfectly placed, very close to the caliper/jaws but not as close as most Scott releases. One detail I looked very closely at on every release we considered is how symetrically the caliper/jaws open when squeezing the 'trigger'. Some brands/models that are considered reputable do not open symetrically but one jaw actually begins moving open before the other. To my eye, the Tru Ball Assassin jaws open exactly the same distance at exactly the same time. I beleive there is adjustment for the tension required to overcome the trigger but we both like how they were set right out of the box. They require enough effort so that you know you are intentionally activating the release. The wrist strap is also comfortable. The only thing I really think could be improved is the simple buckle system. It's as slow and clumsy to don and doff as any simple buckle and think a quicker method of attachent would benefit this model. It's a minor flaw considering rarely will circumstances call for a very quick doffing of your release but it's the only complaint I could come up with. 4.5 stars!
