ZAP Light Stun Gun & Flashlight - 1 Million Volts Review

STUN:
I tested this unit’s stun feature on various parts of my body including my thigh, arm and chest. With a sub 1-second stun to the leg and arm, it hurts and feels like you are being poked with a stick. The pain, however, was not unbearable (even though I could only tolerate a 1-second self-induced burst), and I felt like it wouldn’t hinder an attacker that much. I was left a bit unconvinced of its effectiveness, so I wanted to try it out again on my upper body, which according to the directions is the most effective area to stun. I tried it out on my chest near my shoulder. I was very surprised at the kick, and it actually felt like I was being punched. It hurt a lot more than the leg and arm stun, and I was left very surprised at the experience. I applied the stun for less time than I had done to my leg/arm, however it was much more effective. If used for the recommended full 5 seconds, I can understand how this would cause the attacker to become disoriented and fearful.

FLASHLIGHT:
The entire unit it slightly bigger than I had imagined, however not too big. The flashlight is pretty bright, however the beam pattern is very dispersed, so the range of the light is limited. My LED Lenser, which is 95 lumens, is brighter than this light. Some models of this unit have 6 LEDs, but I don’t know if they are brighter or dimmer than this one. This flashlight has one LED.

I’d like to note that the spikes on the head of the unit are more pronounced and sharper than they appear to be in the image. I was hoping they would be less aggressive looking, as they are in the image, so this unit will not appear as a weapon, but as simple flashlight.

I haven’t charged this unit yet, as the manual says to not overcharge the unit. I don’t believe it has an automatic charge shutoff, nor a charge end light.

Overall, very satisfied with this product so far.

The price seemed too low for a quality sword, as others were approximately 4 times as much, but I ordered it based upon the picture and it is a magnificent looking sword. My son wanted a sword for Christmas based upon the King Arthur legend, and I searched the Internet thoroughly finding that many of them were much higher priced than this one. Nevertheless, I ordered it and I am so happy I did. You could not find a better quality or better looking sword even if you pay four times as much. The gold finish is beautiful, the blade is beautifully engraved, the sword has a very sturdy feel, and it looks totally authentic except the blade is not sharpened -- which is what we wanted. I sought out this website just to let others know about its value, as I found that when you submit an Amazon review on a seller it does not also place the review on the individual product purchased -- it would be much more helpful if it did.
