The urethane grips are very comfortable. The outer grips actually eliminated most of the pain I feel in my elbows (I have tendinitis in both elbows) while exercising. Also, it is very well built from heavy gauge steel with continuous welding. I wish all of my equipment was built this well. If I had more arms, I would buy more of these ;). I definitely recommend this item.
