The positives: Material seems durable and held up to snowy and muddy terrain well. The shoe is very lightweight, and looks sharp. The cons: Runs small- I'm a perfect 8.5 in length but my feet tend to run wide so I normally get a size 9. This comes in 8.5 wide, so I ordered that size, and my toes bumped right up against the inside edge. I had to take the padded insert out to give me enough room to even wear the shoe at all. Another con is the tongue of the shoe doesn't lie flat, and bunches up a bit under the tightened laces. Once I got moving, it didn't seem to cause any lasting irritation to my upper foot, but it seems to be a basic construction oversight.
