I have many knives in my rotation and I feel this is one of the better designs for its purpose. I really don't get the reviews which say it didn't work after the person threw it at a fence multiple times, or that Wagner is a phony. Judged on its own merits (and without bizarre misuse) this knife is a very effective design, solid - with very good lockup - ergonomic and secure in the hand, and well made at the price point. I feel it is a better knife than some which I have seen costing several times more.
