I purchased this item for the Matrix 355 crossbow that I purchased a few weeks ago. When I originally set up the bow, the brace height was too short for the installation for this item. If you plan to purchase this item, you should either have/purchase a stringer or have a bow press accessible for installation. While the installation was fairly easy, the performance gains from the suppressors will vary depending on your budget. I didn't measure the noise before and after the R.E.D.S. suppressors, but I can tell you that it helped the noise and vibration. However, I can't tell you if it helped enough that it covered the cost of the suppressors. If I had to guess, it was a 10%-20% reduction on the noise/vibration that was felt to the shooter. It definately made a difference, but I don't think that it will be the difference in shooting/missing a deer at 30 yards. It is not a "silencer" of crossbows, and will not give you a "follow up shot" on most mature bucks. However, if you like to shoot, than I believe that the feel alone will make this a good purchase.
