I bought a pair of Smartwool underwear 2 years ago for backpacking and I've loved them so I pulled the trigger on these.

They are FANTASTIC. I have used them for bicycling, hiking, backpacking and even rafting. They are snug enough to hold everything where it belongs even during physical exertion but not TOO snug. Like all Smartwool products the material is very soft and wicks moisture away from your body.

These are expensive - but they are luxurious. Despite the cost, I'll be buying more.

DC Men's Alias Lite Skate Shoe,Athletic Red/Black,10 M US Review

Being in my early 30's my Skating has been relagated to cruising on my longboard and leaving the rail slides and stairs to those that still have rubber bones. I was looking for an anthletic shoe that I could wear to the gym but also would hold up to multiple 5k skates. These shoes seem to fit the bill, they're very light, do not look ,like your typical skate shoe "moon boot", have a great arch support and the pads on the bottom seem much more sturdy than your typical running shoe; which I feared would be toast after a few skating sessions. Over all I'm happy and hope they stand up. As for DC's attention to detail the concerns written in other posts are correct.

The shoes does wear a little snug so you may want to order a half size larger than you'd regularly wear. If you've bought DC's before though you prob know this.

The DC insignia on the back is not white, it looks like it was put on prior to the shoe being sprayed blue so now the sign is more of a sky blue. Aside from that I'm a happy camper. Dhipping was super fast, Surf & Dirt has great customer service and I would def recommend working with them.

Decent sneaker for a decent price, but the QA manager seems to have been sleeping on the job.

I bought this bracket to mount an Aimpoint R-1 sight onto a Ruger Mark III pistol. It arrived undamaged within the specified time. Although Ruger provides a Weaver/Picitinny mount with the Mark III, the Aimpoint mount is more mechanically secure, and has a slightly lower profile. The picture accompanying the product description actually shows the underside of the mount (the side that rests against the pistol). Seeing the top would show the machined recesses that mate with the bottom of the sight. To install the mount onto the sight,the Weaver-style mount screwed to the sight must be removed. For me, 3 of the 4 screws came out OK, but one of the socket screw's internals had been stripped during assembly, so I had to drill it out. Not the fault of this mount, but worth mentioning. After that, installation of the mount onto the sight (using hardware supplied with the mount) was quick and easy, as was installation of the sight and mount onto the pistol (again with supplied hardware). Thread-locking compound, like Locktite, is NOT included with the mount, and should be used. Overall, the mount is well made, well finished, pricey, but fulfills its intended purpose extremely well. I have no regrets, and am satisfied with this purchase.

I have Terry Flys on all my four road bikes. Three of them are the Ti rail version with leather cover, but I wanted a synthetic cover for my all-weather bike. I'm a 51 year old road rider that averages 100-125 miles a week. After trying several other saddles, I seem to always come back to these. They just seem to fit and provide support in the right places while not getting in the way of my pedal stroke. The Ti railed version soaks up the bumps slightly better, but otherwise the two versions fit and perform the same. They're not flashy or the lightest, but for comfort and longevity, they're a very good choice if they fit you. Choosing the right saddle can be a long and frustrating process as everyone is different, but personally I'm sold on the Flys.

Excalibur R.E.D.S. Suppressors for Matrix Review

I purchased this item for the Matrix 355 crossbow that I purchased a few weeks ago. When I originally set up the bow, the brace height was too short for the installation for this item. If you plan to purchase this item, you should either have/purchase a stringer or have a bow press accessible for installation. While the installation was fairly easy, the performance gains from the suppressors will vary depending on your budget. I didn't measure the noise before and after the R.E.D.S. suppressors, but I can tell you that it helped the noise and vibration. However, I can't tell you if it helped enough that it covered the cost of the suppressors. If I had to guess, it was a 10%-20% reduction on the noise/vibration that was felt to the shooter. It definately made a difference, but I don't think that it will be the difference in shooting/missing a deer at 30 yards. It is not a "silencer" of crossbows, and will not give you a "follow up shot" on most mature bucks. However, if you like to shoot, than I believe that the feel alone will make this a good purchase.
