I was torn between these and the non-waterproof version of the Alamosa. Glad I got these; they do not make my feet hot, even in the heat of Big Bend! Haven't really tested the waterproofing yet, since we are in drought here in TX! Super comfy and light too. I tried on about 10 different boots (Vasque, Timberland, other Keens) and these fit me the best, by far!
