Bought this one for my son in hopes that the gizmo shock thingies actually work.
Well they do. He claims foul tips seem to just bounce off and it does not rattle his brains.
He has used this for a season and one half and the shocks have held up and the helmet in general is still in great shape.
The only bad note is they,unlike other helmet makers, do not sell replacement pads for the inside.
The glue used is garbage and we have had to velcro,glue,duct tape pads during games.
One smaller pad is lost for good and I had to make shift from one an older model.
This would get 5 stars if not for this problem. Calling the company is useless with no real answers. In fact I say 3.5 stars as this has been annoying. Other than that problem this helmet with shocks lives up to the hype.Fix the pad problem this is a 5 star product.
